Before coming to JL Design, she worked as a Kitchen Designer and a wedding and events planner in Birmingham, AL. She also worked as a set designer and visual planner in Middle Tennessee.
"I knew, probably before the age of 10 that design was my calling. I spent my activity time in 2nd grade drawing custom sofa's and designing furniture for my dolls. Before I would allow anyone to play with me, my playhouse had to be clean and organized, and I was constantly adding new touches...I have a passion, and reverence for great design, and a desire to intertwine that with my love for sustainable design."
Currently Britany is preparing for LEED certification, as well as studying advancements in lighting design and energy saving technology." My goal is to always stay current on new exciting ways to make life better. Combining decorative talents, and planning and coordinating experience, with sustainable and green knowledge, I hope to give clients of JL Design the comfort of knowing that no aspect of your design needs will be ignored."
